The Board provides various levels of training, which is currently being delivered virtually due to the current national health situation.

The booking form for ERSAB courses is available to download and complete below. It is also available to download from within each course notice, so delegates should have no trouble being able to book onto training courses.
This course is a Level 3 course and is suitable for all delegates working within the voluntary and independent sector, supporting 'Adults at Risk of Harm' (formerly Vulnerable Adults), in a range of settings. This course is suitable for delegates with safeguarding decision making responsibility, working in the voluntary and independent sector, working with 'Adults at Risk of Harm' within a range of settings. This activity is appropriate for those that supervise, manage or quality-assure the work of practitioners. Delegates must have attended a Level 2 course e.g. Reporting Concerns, Mental Capacity Act, Reporting Concerns Face-to-face training session.
Currently no face-to-face training is taking place.

Course content:This course allows professional to understand the VARM process and encourages confidence in responding appropriately in order to help support the individual.

Seven-minute briefings are based on research that suggests seven minutes is an ideal time in which to concentrate and learn.
This type of summary is now being adopted by the Board in order to provide learning briefs for partners in regard to Adult Safeguarding.
