National Safeguarding Adults Week 15 - 21 November 2021

National Safeguarding Adults Week 2021

National Safeguarding Adults Week 2020 will take place from Monday 15-Sunday 21 November 2021.

This year the focus is on the theme of ‘Safer Cultures’.

Promoting safer cultures is all about how organisations and individuals can take steps to minimise harm occurring in the first instance. At the same time, it means ensuring correct policies and procedures are in place. That way, if any safeguarding concerns that are raised, we can recognise them and respond to the swiftly and effectively.

We need your support to raise awareness about how individuals and organisations can contribute to safer cultures.

Ways to Support Safeguarding Adults Week 2021

You can sign up to support the week with The Ann Craft Trust here.  This will provide resources and enable you to share free podcasts, posters and resources within your organisation, or create your own, to raise awareness of safeguarding issues.

Use the hashtag #SafeguardingAdultsWeek on social media to tell the online community about your safeguarding initiatives.

Learn how to recognise the signs of abuse and how to record and report your concerns.

We hope you can join the conversation in 2021.
